Believe God

God is looking for people in these times who will believe Him and obey Him. In fact, that's always been the case. I've shared for the past couple of years how that so many Christians are actually, UNbelieving believers. Folks can believe for salvation, but have a hard time believing for much beyond that.

Yet God says He's the same TODAY, yesterday and FOREVER! He's told us to trust Him with all our hearts and He'll see us through anything. He can make a way where there seems to be no way. He can give us peace in the midst of the storm. He can lift us up no matter how far down we may be. No matter how bleak things may look, He's there for those who will believe. He WILL deliver us.

I can remember years ago being at the end of our rope. But we didn't lack hope! God ministered to me at those times in such precious ways. The Bible talks about Isaac being in a dry place, in Genesis 26. He was kicked out of his home by the enemy with whom he had dwelled and  where he'd been  blessed. But the wells had been shut. They were in a serious need for water. So the Bible says in verse 19, they digged in the VALLEY and found a well of springing water.

Sometimes our greatest blessings come from the most difficult trials. The reason that happens, is to build our faith. We can learn to trust God when we see Him do the miraculous and we KNOW He's done it!

A sad thing so often happens with many, though. Things get rough and last that way longer than they can bear it, they think. So they begin backing off from believing. They begin to adjust their believing to what they're experiencing, instead of continuing to believe the Word. As a result, there have been many needless shipwrecks.

A WORD FOR SOMEONE:

The Lord would have you know that He is still on the throne. He is aware of your situation and cares far more than you could possibly comprehend. Know it is He that is at work to perfect that which concerns you. He alone knows what is needed in your life to perfect you and give you more faith and confidence. So although it may seem He has forgotten you, know that He is watching you like an eagle, soaring above your situation. He alone knows what He's doing.  But as you endure patiently, waiting for your deliverance, know that it is sure; it is certain; it WILL come. Just when you think you're going under for the last time, He will swoop down and lift you up and you will KNOW it is HE that has saved you and not you yourself. He will get the glory, not you. There will be no room for boasting, because it will be SO obvious it was He who delivered you, much like Gideon, who had to win the battle with the multitude with an army of 300, so as not to be tempted to take ANY credit. All glory goes to HIM!
